Caldwell Companies celebrated a huge milestone as a company and in one of their largest communities Towne Lake, the completion of the final section of the lake at Towne Lake. The final 25 acres opened to resident use this week, bringing the total size of the lake to 300 acres, with over 14 miles of shoreline. Caldwell Companies bought the land in 2005, and began digging the lake in 2006, to create one of the largest private lakes in this region and in Texas. Around 12 million yards of dirt have been moved throughout the years, and re distributed to create the Towne Lake we know today. Residents can boat, kayak, paddle board, and visit our private island. A vision that once began as a dream to create a community connected by water!
