We had such a special evening at our National Night Out event, and one very special moment recapped by Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department: "Janet Elliott thanked Cy-Fair Medics for saving her life during a ceremony at the Towne Lake National Night Out on Sunday. Elliott went into sudden cardiac arrest while walking her dog on the morning of June 14th in Cypress. EMS District Chief, Jeffery Low, was driving down Greenhouse Rd. and when he was flagged down by a passerby who found Elliott unresponsive. Chief Low started CPR and called dispatch for additional resources. EMS District Chief Stephanie Litrell, Paramedic Mariana Sanchez, and Cy-Fair FD crews revived Elliott and transported her to the hospital. Elliott has since made a full recovery and now encourages the community to learn CPR." If you see a first responder in the community, be sure to say thank you!
